Our white wine 2023 Riesling Kabinett GOLDSTÜCK can be found in the newest edition of the Mercure-Weinlese Drinks Menu in selected Mercure-Hotels in Germany.

To mark the start of the new wine season, Mercure Hotels in Germany are unveiling the latest edition of their Mercure Wine Selection menu. With a strong focus on high-quality regional wines, two distinct versions of the menu are available, featuring a curated range of German white, rosé, and red wines.

The Northeast Selection includes wines from renowned winegrowing regions such as the Mosel, Pfalz, Rheinhessen, Württemberg, Middle Rhine, Franken, and Baden. Even Mercure’s smaller properties are part of the initiative, offering a compact version of the wine list with at least six carefully selected wines.

The Southwest Selection highlights wines from the Rheingau, Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Württemberg, Baden, and the Mosel region.

We are proud to share our recent ratings from renowned wine critic Stuart Pigott, published on JamesSuckling.com. Our 2022 Rieslings received outstanding scores ranging from 91 to 94 points. Among them was our entry-level “Saar Riesling”, which was awarded an impressive 91 points.

At the prestigious VINUM Riesling Competition, our Riesling Kabinett GOLDSTÜCK impressed the judges and earned 2nd place in the “Riesling Kabinett” category. We are thrilled with this recognition and proud to see our dedication to crafting exceptional Rieslings being acknowledged on a national level.

At the national Riesling competition, our Riesling Kabinett GOLDSTÜCK excelled and was awarded 1st place in the “Riesling Kabinett Feinherb” category. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and excited to see our Riesling recognized as a top contender in its category.

We are thrilled to have recently joined the BERNKASTELER RING e.V. (now known as Der Ring Mosel 1898), the oldest wine auction society in Germany. Der 2020 Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Kabinett erzielte 91+ Punkte bei der Trophy und war somit unter den Top Weinen in dem Tasting. Der 2020 Serriger Würtzberg Riesling Kabinett erzielte 90 Punkte. The 2018 Serriger Herrenberg Riesling Spätlese received 92 Points. Additionally, the 2018 Riesling Kabinett GOLDSTÜCK scored 91 Points. We are very happy with the results.

Our 2018 Serriger Herrenberg Riesling Beerenauslese received a Gold Medal & won the award “Best of Show Germany Riesling noble sweet”.

Our 2019 Serriger Würtzberg Riesling Kabinett scored in the top 10 and won 92 points!

We are very happy to announce that our 2017 Riesling “Alte Reben” won a gold medal with 91 points at the international London Wine Competition. Our Auslese and our Serriger Herrenberg Spätlese won silver and bronze respectively. Please find the detailed results here.

Our Serriger Herrenberg Spätlese won 1st Place in the category “vintage 2016 restsüß”.

Rotschiefer 2016 made it into the top 30 list in the category dry riesling. With 5 stars it’s a top wine of international format.

Riesling from all over the world are tasted by Masters of wine and Sommeliers in a blind-tasting format. Wines are divided only by price bracket and the sweetness of the style, which allows the wines to be assessed without prejudice about their country of origin. The best wines were awarded medals that ranged from Bronze through to Gold, as well as Master, the ultimate accolade, given only to exceptional wines in the tasting. We are proud to have been awarded 3 great awards!
