Siblings Felix & Annalena Heimes

On July 1st, 2016 we – the Heimes family – took over the Winery “Weingut Dr. Siemens” from Dr. Jochen Siemens. At that time we decided to rename the winery and to turn to the traditional name “Würtzberg” under which the winery was founded by the baron/duke in the 18th century. The siblings Felix (25, oenologist) and Annalena (30, marketing) work hand in hand in the family business. Felix is ​​responsible for the vineyards and the cellar. Annalena for the rest.

Felix

Felix started working and leading the winery with just shy of 24 years old. He studied at Hochschule Geisenheim University and in New Zealand. During his studies he was able to intern at various wineries around the world e.g. Peter Lauer in Ayl (MOSEL, Germany), Allesverloren (Swartland, South Africa), Domaine Vinsmoselle (Luxembourg). He is responsible for the vineyard sites and the cellar.

Annalena

Annalena manages the marketing & sales part of the winery. She just started in August 2020. Prior to that she worked at L’Oréal, Villeroy & Boch and Reckitt Benckiser Hygiene Home.
Doro-Wuertzberg

Dorothee

Dorothee is Annalena’s and Felix’s mother. She organizes the overall things of the winery. and welcomes every guest with a smile!
Franz-Wuertzberg

Franz

Franz Lenz has worked for many many years (he had his 50th harvest in 2019) and teaches Felix some secrets of the Würtzberg.
Ludger-Wuertzberg

Ludger

Ludger is Felix’s and Annalena’s father. He grew up in Fell, which is a town in the Moselle region. His great great uncle once worked on the estate as well. Ludger manages the huge garden and the flowers around the court yard.
